What makes these bars great: 3DB: My home bar is great because it provides a safe space for queers to simply exist, while programming a diverse bill of events to experience for all types of queers from dance parties, drag shows, viewing parties, speed dating, circuit parties and more. This is one of my fav places to lose myself on the dance floor while listening to world-class sound system both upstairs at 3DB and downstairs at 9 Bob Note!
Metro: Chill vibes to dance vibes: I love that Metro allows you to enjoy a chill day from playing pool to backyard barbeque vibes to sickening drag shows and intense dance parties. Whatever mood you may be in, Metro has a nice balance of chill and fun!
C’mon: C’mon is amazing at focusing intently on the diversity within the queer community of Brooklyn by empowering and promoting BIPOC, trans, lesbian, non binary plus peoples through prioritizing the programming of events in celebration and love of said communities. We celebrate all peoples of different body types, colors, walks of life and beyond with dance parties, live music, open sets, drag shows and more. C’mon Everybody literally means come on everybody! I love the feelings of safety and queerness C’mon Everybody provides so we can all exist, have fun safely, and thrive!
Mary’s: Being a queer Irish and sister bar to Ginger’s Bar, Mary’s Bar does a fabulous job promoting connection across the community while providing an authentic Irish Pub experience. From women’s soccer parties, karaoke with Javi, Irish dance classes and live Irish music, Mary’s is an amazing premium queer neighborhood bar experience for all – a new queer bar you definitely need to experience!
Best drink I make: margarita
I love it when customers: have a great and safe time out in nightlife with friends!
I hate it when customers: I dislike when customers are less considerate towards bar staff and other patrons around them.
