Thotyssey presents a bi-monthly column by LeNair Xavier, a writer/poet who has worked in many levels of the sex industry, and has a lot to say about the social politics of sex, porn and sexual etiquette.
Back in May 2017, I wrote an article listing 6 sex toys that are marketed to females, but can be enjoyed by males. With it being two years since that article, and Masturbation May being next month, I thought it would be best for an updated list.
In my last list of this kind, I included the Magic Wand Rechargeable. The main complaint I’m sure many had then and now is the size of a Magic Wand. Hence how Vedo’s Wanda made its way to this list. For it is about 3 in.(8 cm) shorter than the Magic Wand Rechargeable, and its head is a tad less wide. Less enough that the Magic Wand attachment, Hummingbird (used in my Xtube video) just misses fitting snugly on the head of Vedo’s Wanda.
Still, Vedo’s Wanda with its strong vibration and 10 varying patterns makes it great for nipple play, foreplay, or masturbation on the penis. Just put some water-based lube on either the head of the toy, your penis, or both, and you can reach an orgasm without an attachment.
2) Laya II
Fun Factory’s Laya II is the rechargeable version of their battery-operated sex toy, the Laya Spot. While it is mainly marketed to be for clitoral stimulation, in addition to using it to cup the balls (as it is also suggested) for pleasure, I also found pleasure by rubbing it on the frenulum, all over the head of the penis, up and down the shaft, and on the taint.
Its design also allows for more blunt stimulation of the nipples.
As I have said many times reviewing the dual stimulating sex toys marketed to females called “rabbit vibrators,” its external stimulator gives it a base that makes it able to be used as an anal sex toy as well. Thereby making it able to also be enjoyed by males. More so the newer versions of rabbit.
With that said, FemmeFunn’s Pirouette has all of the functions of their Turbo Baller (which I recommended The Pleasure Chest to carry) that I reviewed (and loved) on “L’s X-Ray Vision”. That includes it coming with a remote control.
The differences between the Pirouette and The Turbo Baller are simply that the Pirouette is softer, in both its head and its external stimulator, which would vibrate against the perineum (taint) during anal play. Also, as you can see, Pirouette’s look is also nowhere near as representational of a male’s genitalia as the Turbo Baller, and that works for some males. For not all males require representational visuals in their sex toys, and that’s perfectly okay.
Part of that less representational look can be quite beneficial. For the Pirouette has a curved tip marketed for G-spot stimulation, which when used anally in a male makes it great for P-spot (prostate) stimulation.
The Duo by Womanizer is the latest incarnation of their Inside Out toy. For those who don’t know, Inside Out is their combo of their popular Womanizer which does suction on the clitoris with a vibrating part for internal stimulation of the vagina. The internal part of the toy of the Inside Out was a simple curved piece. However, due to Womanizer’s recent merging with We-Vibe, Womanizer has shaped the internal part of the Duo to be more like that of We-Vibe’s Nova, which made my list of this kind from 2 years ago. And liked it so much that I did a Nude Dude Review video for it.
With that said, like the Nova, the internal part of the Duo is good for prostate stimulation. What made me question if I could recommend this sex toy though is the external part. For a Womanizer itself is made for suction on the clitoris, and I have gotten off with the Womanizer Premium given to me by massaging it to create suction mainly on my frenulum and on the tip of my urethra. But that part on a Duo can’t reach there when inserted. Inserted, the Duo’s external stimulator faces the taint. This led to me to discovering that pleasure isn’t only felt on the taint by massaging it, or placing vibration on it. Pleasure is also felt on the taint by suction.
The Bi Stronic Fusion has been around for quite awhile now, even before I did my 1st list. So I admit to being late in recommending it. By the time of its introduction, I had already had a Stronic Drei and using an anal enhancer on a Stronic Eins. Both of which took a lot of work to enjoy. For you see, Fun Factory Stronics are not vibrators, but pulsators. They actually thrust.
The Bi Stronic Fusion however gets its name because it is the fusion of a pulsator and a vibrator. And while with a regular Stronic, you needed something (like a Liberator Bon Bon) to hold the toy in place to experience the pulsing, a Bi Stronic Fusion has a vibrating external stimulator that you can hold against your taint. Letting the shaft thrust back and forth. No extra furniture required.
The Bi Stronic Fusion is a bit thick for some people’s taste. So that is something to take into consideration.
I will admit that this list has more pricier toys than my list 2 years ago. With the cheapest toy on this list being Vedo’s Wanda, which currently retails where I work for $79.95. While the most expensive being Womanizer’s Duo which retails there for $219.95.
Part of the higher price point are them all being rechargeable, waterproof, and being made of high quality silicone, which is non-porous. Therefore, with a washing using a toy cleaner or body-safe soap, they won’t hold bacteria. With that said, I strongly suggest that you have a desire and means to seriously monetarily invest in your masturbatory pleasure. And have the same degree of emotional investment in a relationship if these products are to be used within a relationship.
