Bar that I work at: The Stonewall Inn
How long I’ve worked there: I just celebrated my 8th year. Pride weekend is my anniversary.
What are my shifts: Friday and Saturday nights, Sunday Happy Hour and Monday nights. I also fill in on Thursdays semi regularly.
What makes this bar great: The obvious history makes this bar great. But in addition to that, the staff is a family. Stonewall is my home away from home, and the fact that it a place where our community can come together and rally in times or celebration or tragedy is fascinating to me.
Best drink I make: I try to make a really good margarita, based on another bartender’s recipe–but mine isn’t quite as good as hers.
I love it when customers: Have fun, but are respectful of the space and my space. I want people to have a fucking party every time they walk in, but don’t think you can destroy the place and do whatever you want.
I hate it when customers: Touch me, grab me, push me. It’s usually not malicious, but it’s very unnecessary.
Craziest thing I’ve seen here: No comment!

Stuff I do when I’m not bartending: I sleep A LOT. I wish I had more time for video games. I like to go to the movies alone. Hang out with my dogs. I’ve been too busy recently to put together shows I used to do.
Single or Taken: Taken.
Who/what turns me on: I like confidence without being cocky. I like people who can master a dirty joke or a good pick up line without seeming forced. Confidence is key, though.
Favorite music: Britney Spears.
Favorite movie or TV show: I’m obsessed with the Scream franchise. I love anything Shonda Rhimes. Samantha Bee. Andy Cohen. I just got into Housewives thanks to Erika Jayne. And my favorite show, Pretty Little Liars, just ended. Orange Is The New Black. Drag Race. Shameless. Riverdale. I like TV way too much but I also watch garbage.
Favorite drag queen: If we’re talking Drag Race, then Trixie Mattel, Katya, Willam, Alaska, Bianca. If we’re talking local queens then Ari Kiki, Lola Michele-Kiki, Brita Filter, Logan Hardcore, Terra Hyman, Britney Virazzano, Kimmi Moore, Adriana Trenta, Holly Box-Springs, Sutton Lee Seymour… ugh, the list goes on. I wish I could make it to more shows.
My drag name would be: I have a drag name I gave my friend that he’ll never use ‘cause he won’t do drag, but I’d steal it back for myself: Abortia Cottontail, a murderous Playboy Bunny who wants to party and kill your fetus.
Favorite gogo boy: Gogo Stephen NYC
Favorite DJ: Chauncey Dandridge, Kim Dazy, Ladylyke, RiMix, Lawless, just to name a few. And myself of course!
Other stuff you need to know about me: I really love all kinds of music, from Marilyn Manson to Mandy Moore. I moved to this city to live in an abandoned warehouse and befriend Meatpacking District sex workers, but my dreams were dashed by Giuliani and Bloomberg. I wanna take classes at UCB, but I have no time. I’m a vegetarian and I spoil the fuck out of my dog.
