Baby-faced Dylan Born at Macri Park is one of Brooklyn’s Star Pourmasters.
Bar that I work at: Macri Park
What are my shifts: Tuesday and Wednesday Happy Hours (3-10pm) & Friday Nights (10pm-4am)
What makes this bar great: The community in Brooklyn is really strong, and the bars here all get along very well. I think a strong sense of family really makes this bar great. People here are always happy to see each other.
Best drink I make: I make a KILLER Appletini
I love it when customers: Actually make an attempt to talk to other people at the bar. Too often, people come in alone and drink alone for a few hours and don’t try to engage in anyone around them.
I hate it when customers: Get into yelling arguments over politics or religion at the bar. I think now more than ever discussing politics is important, but whenever it’s two drunk people with opposing opinions talking about it, it NEVER ends well.
Craziest thing I’ve seen here: Walking in on a six person orgy in the downstairs bathroom at our Otter Box parties on Sundays was probably the craziest–not because of the orgy, but because I was surprised that six people could fit into that tiny little room and actually make it work.
My hometown: Denton, TX. It’s a small college town right outside of Dallas.
Stuff I do when I’m not bartending: I act and write and read and smoke pot and walk around parks and watch movies.
Single or Taken: 100% Single
Who/what turns me on: Boys who look like they’ve been on “Czeck Hunter.”
Favorite music: Carly Rae Jepsen, Bjork, Britney Spears, Alanis Morissette, Sade
Favorite movie or TV show: Favorite TV is a tie between The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, The Real Housewives of Atlanta, and The Real Housewives of NYC. Favorite Movie is Hercules.
Favorite drag queen: Aquaria
is the greatest drag queen of our time
My drag name would be: Baby Born
Favorite gogo boy: Harrison Curley
Favorite DJ: DJ Horrorchata! She’s the flame that keeps Brooklyn lit.
Other stuff you need to know about me: My sweat smells like peaches
