How long I’ve worked there: I started as a barback 6-7 years ago, but I became a bartender almost 3 years ago.
What are my shifts: 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month with Wepa Wednesday Latin Night, and also every weekend!
What makes this bar great: Absolutely our six different bars, and our copper restaurant with a nice pool–also, our Empress Hotel. A lot of things to offer in the same place, run by great people. Our staff, from housekeeping to management, welcomes everyone to have an amazing time and feel they are at home. It’s an historical landmark running.
Best drink I make: Everything, but my favorite drinks to make are any tequila drink! I am a tequila man.
I love it when customers: Tip very well and wait patiently, especially on our busy days!
I hate it when customers: Touch my fruit or come and ask the same question over and over again. I mean, regular customers who always ask for prices or minimum charge on cards…
Craziest thing I’ve seen here: Well, for a crazy naughty Latin man like me, nothing is crazy because I am crazy.
