How long I’ve worked there: Almost 2 years
What are my shifts: Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturday for brunch
What makes this bar great: I really enjoy the atmosphere, and how diverse our crowd can be. This was also the first gay bar I walked into on my own.
Best drink I make: I make a mean Margarita. But I can be really nice 😉
I love it when customers: Are friendly, and have a smile on their face.
I hate it when customers: Yell out my name or snap their fingers to get my attention when there are people waiting before them.
Craziest thing I’ve seen here: A guy took a sip of his drink, and when I went to check on him two seconds later, he was passed out and vomited all over the place.
Other places I’ve worked: I worked at a PR agency, and a restaurant in the UES
My hometown: I’m a born and raised New Yorker, from Queens.
Stuff I do when I’m not bartending: I’m either at the gym, out with friends or seeing a musical.
Single or Taken: Single AF, but working on it.
Who/what turns me on: Someone with a brain, a nice smile to match.
Favorite music: It changes from time to time, but it’s usually hip hop, alternative, and Broadway showtunes
Favorite movie or TV show: Wonder Woman, all five Underworld movies, Once Upon A Time, Archer, The Flash, Game of Thrones, True Blood, Insecure, American Horror Story, Broad City, and American Dad.
Favorite drag queen: I have two. My girl Chaka Khanvict was the first drag queen I ever encountered, and I can never help but laugh at her reads. The other is Jacqueline Dupree who graces Boxers HK with her vocal talents every Tuesday night for karaoke.

Favorite gogo boy: I don’t really know any.
Favorite DJ: I feel like I’m being set up with this question, haha. I can’t choose just one because I’ve built good relationships with many DJs, so my favorites are: Panos, 2Face, Steve Sidewalk, J Roc, John Marto, Neverland, Ian Ford and Eric Abobo.
Other stuff you need to know about me: I’m a huge Marvel/DC fan. I can read comics almost as well as I can read people.
